Noise Exposure

We have conducted hundreds, if not thousands, of noise both sound maps, TWA noise surveys for your Hearing Conservation Program, best practice standards, and other reasons. We use either OSHA PEL and /or the ACGIH TLV (3 dB or 5 dB) exchange rates depending on your needs and management preference.

Noise monitoring is not just for compliance but for short and long term health with significant workers comp and insurance issues at stake. Don’t be caught making employee exposure assumptions that don’t take into consideration the science of distinguishing occupational vs. non occupational noise exposure and damage.

Perhaps no IH exposure is less understood than noise. Noise impacts a host of significant factors including stress, productivity, concentration, interference with critical risk communication and warnings, speech, physical and psychological stress leading to a host of negative short and long-term effects.
